Royal Ascot:

There are few sporting venues that can match the rich heritage and history of Ascot Racecourse. For almost 250 years, Royal Ascot has established itself as a national institution and the centrepiece of the British social calendar as well as being the ultimate stage for the best racehorses in the world. Tradition, pageantry, fashion and style all meet in a glorious setting at one of the most beautiful racecourses in the country. The quality of the horseracing at Royal Ascot is simply outstanding, with nearly £4 million in prize money on offer and a total of eighteen ‘Group’ races over the five days.

Henley Regatta:

Henley Royal Regatta is undoubtedly the best known regatta in the world and is both one of the highlights of the summer sporting calendar and the social season. It attracts thousands of visitors over a 5 day period and spectators will be thrilled by over 200 races of an international standard, including Olympians and crews new to the event.

Reading Festival:

Reading Festival remains one of the most popular UK festivals. Each year draws a huge line-up of bands and it is one festival not to be missed. The Reading Festival is internationally recognised as ’probably’ the most popular music festival in existence. It has undergone several reinventions over its lifetime, from being a Jazz Festival in the 1960s, dabbling with punk in the late 70′s and continually evolving into what we know now as the UK’s most popular festival.

Farnborough Airshow:

The Farnborough International Airshow is held every 2 years and receives a phenomenal public following due to an unrivalled week of aviation excellence and family entertainment witnessed by over 130,000 visitors. Reading Pride:

This year’s Reading Pride Parade will be the biggest and best we have ever organised building on the success of the past three years. It will make its way through the centre of town before heading for the Festival site at Kings Meadow Park.

Last year over 300 people walked through the town including Thames Valley Positive Support (TVPS), Thames Valley Gay Police Association (TVGPA), Royal Berkshire Ambulance Service, TAG Collective with their festival carte and the bar boys from The Wynford Arms.
