NEW YEAR'S EVE GALA
31 December · Black Tie
See in the New Year at our Gala Ball in the Buckingham Suite. The evening starts with sparkling wine on arrival, followed by a five-course dinner, a disco and a countdown to midnight.
The evening: Arrival from 7:00pm · dinner at 8:00pm · main bar until 1:00am

Celebrate the season with a meal in our 2 AA Rosette Caprice Restaurant. From festive lunches through December to Christmas Day itself and a New Year's Eve dinner, our Executive Chef has put together menus for every occasion.
Festive Lunch & Dinner (1 December – 1 January)
Festive lunch or dinner in the Caprice, with a choice of two or three courses and the option to add a glass of prosecco. Expect dishes like a Turkey Escalope Ballotine (in the picture), a Duo of Pork or a Nori-Wrapped Hake Fillet, finished with desserts such as Christmas Pudding or a Mulled Wine Poached Pear, plus tea, coffee and mince pies.

Boxing Day Lunch (26 December)
The same festive menu, served on Boxing Day — all the flavour of the season with none of the effort.

Christmas Day Lunch (25 December)
A four-course lunch with all the trimmings, a glass of champagne on arrival and a visit from Father Christmas for the children. The menu steps things up for the big day, with starters like a Duck Liver & Orange Parfait, mains such as Roast Turkey Breast or Roast Sirloin of Beef, and desserts including a Bûche de Noël.

New Year's Eve Dinner (31 December)
A relaxed way to see in the New Year in the Caprice, with a three-course menu featuring dishes like a Beef Fillet Wellington or Sea Bass Fillet, and a Baked Alaska to finish.
Vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options are available across all our menus, and a dedicated Children's Festive Menu is on offer throughout. Pre-booking is recommended.

I just wanted to give you some feedback for Christmas party on Saturday evening. After my Saturday evening party at the Crowne Plaza I thought I would write to let you know that I was extremely impressed with everything at the Crowne Plaza. It was such a perfect evening and we all had the best time. All the staff were amazing, smiling, kind and helpful. The food was really delicious, even for me with all my food intolerances. The service was amazing and the music and dance floor space was great. I really couldn't fault the evening, so wanted to say THANK YOU so much for organising such a great evening.

We wanted to pass on to yourself and the other members of staff our thanks for the amazing weekend we had while staying with you for New Years Eve 2015. The function room looked amazing on arrival and as always with every attention to detail. The different set up to the room seemed to work very well too. The Gala Dinner was delicious and the waiting staff were attentive and friendly. Our table was in an excellent position. We also all congratulated the Disco Man which we believe was different to previous years. He pitched the music exactly right to the age and mood of the Guests present, making the evening very enjoyable. So much so that the majority of the Guests wanted to have a dance - everyone seemed to have a wonderful evening. A good nights sleep and a leisurely brunch before check out added to a great start to 2016. My thanks also to the housekeeping staff who bagged up my PJ'S ready for collection when I left them in the room by mistake. We wish you all a good 2016 and look forward to booking for New Years Eve 2016 in due course.
